Overview

SYNLAB provides a wide range of testing capabilities from workplace drug and alcohol testing, food testing, oil and fuel testing, veterinary testing and advanced pathology services through to the most innovative molecular and genetic diagnostic tests available today. SYNLAB work closely with clinicians, hospitals, occupational health providers and clinical researchers to provide a complete pathology offering. We have a nine-month FTC salaried contract for a HR Administration and Recruitment Co-ordinator to work from our Head Office in Central London. Duties include: Provide a responsive and customer-focused HR service to support workforce transition activities in a programme environment. Support resourcing activities leading up to safe transfer period. HR duties - Updating, auditing and maintaining all personnel files. HR system administration. Calendar management and room booking for the HR team. Ad hoc administrative and project support Recruitment duties - Ensure the provision of a responsive, high quality recruitment service to managers from vacancy notification to appointment. Provide timely and proactive end to end recruitment process including drafting and placing adverts, arranging and participating in short-listing and interviews (both telephone and in person), ensuring timely co-ordination of diaries and meeting room bookings etc. Responsibility for post offer stage, pre-employment checks and induction process and the various administrative duties which this entails. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Desired Skills and Experience Strong track record of success in a recruitment role Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate. High degree of discretion. Impeccable organisation skills and the ability to be very detail orientated GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with evidence of relevant professional development. Proven knowledge of IT systems, in particular Microsoft Office packages with Microsoft Excel being at an intermediate / advanced level. Demonstrable team working skills with a positive attitude Application of good customer care Ability to deliver work by deadlines and using own initiative
