Senior Social Worker/Decision Maker - MASH - Northamptonshire - £37,000 per annum welcome payment An exciting vacancy has become available in Northamptonshire for a Senior Practitioner/Decision Maker on the MASH team. The client is ideally looking for candidates with post qualifying experience in a statutory environment; making it a great chance to step into a management role and springboard your career. In this role as a social worker you will maintain knowledge of current team plan and of own contribution in delivering this. You will also demonstrate awareness and compliance with required Standards including the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework (Social Work level). To mentor, guide and manage Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub Officers (MASHOs) and provide high quality case work decisions and operational supervision of staff within the team to ensure that their work meets Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards of proficiency and contributes to the achievement of social work service objectives. As part of an operational social work team make case decisions regarding the actions needed to ensure the safety and needs of children are met in line with Working Together 2018 timescales. Contribute to the overall management of the MASH team in order to meet service objectives, key performance targets and statutory requirements of social service legislation.
