Overview

Support Worker waking nights Hull and East Riding. £9.50 per hour Your new company You will be working for Hays on a temporary, flexible night shift basis for a range of clients in the Hull and East Riding areas. We work predominantly in the Learning Disabilities sector so experience of working with challenging behaviour, autism and mental health is preferred. Your new role You will be supporting your clients with personal care, activities, monitoring medications, updating charts and promoting independence. You may have to work with clients who are non-verbal or challenging so excellent communication skills are key. What you'll need to succeed Successful candidates will be motivated and able to use their initiative. You must have experience and / or hold an NVQ L2 / L3 in Health and Social Care. Being enthusiastic, professional and hard-working is essential as well as being able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards the aspirations of the residents.
