Overview
We are currently looking for a GIS Data Analyst to join a leading environmental company based in the Greater London area. As the GIS Data Analyst you will be responsible for using data driven insights to solve numerous routing solutions in order to help the company become more operationally and financially efficient. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Data Analyst will be providing operational and logistical improvements using advanced analytics practices: 1. As the GIS Data Analyst you will lead route optimisation projects for new and existing businesses through creating automated reports and dashboards using GIS, Excel, SQL and Python. 2. You will work with operational teams to understand bespoke constraints and fine tune each project. 3. As the Data Analyst you will providing data driven solutions to optimise route focused projects throughout the business. 4. You will build routing templates that can be reused across the UK and communicate technical solutions to non-technical people. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Data Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. As the Data Analyst you will have a mathematical focused degree. 2. You will have proven industry experience in using route optimisation tools and software and have demonstrable route optimisation experience. 3. As the Data Analyst you will have a working knowledge and practical experience with Excel, SQL and Python.
