Job Description

A 6-moth Fixed Term Urology Trust Registrar post has become available at North Middlesex Hospital University NHS Trust, with an immediate start, subject to pre-employment checks. North Middlesex University Hospital is a medium sized Hospital based in Edmonton, North London. We serve a diverse multicultural population largely from the London boroughs of Enfield and Haringey. Many of our patients live in wards that are within the 5% most deprived in the UK and a large proportion of our patients were born abroad. This makes it both a fascinating and a challenging hospital to work in. There are huge opportunities to participate in operating, emergency cases exposure, inpatient care, teaching, audit and research. The department deals with a variety of clinical conditions and participates in multi-institutional MDTs, Audit, and Research. Essential Requirements; * Full GMC Registration * Previous experience of working within the NHS * Experience in Urology We aim to be "best in class" delivering high quality clinical services, outstanding customer care and efficient organisational systems and processes to our local populations of Enfield and Haringey. The new appointees will join a busy and supportive department with a strong commitment to high standards of patient care. The post will be part of a 1:5 on call rota, however due to current vacancies the interim on call rota will be 1:4.
