Overview
Smile Education is a leading recruitment service for schools and nurseries in the West Midlands. Smile Early Years is currently recruiting on behalf of a nursery who are looking for newly qualified practitioners to assist with their cover needs on a daily and weekly basis from August/September time. About the role: - You will be working across the nursery this will include working in babies, toddlers and preschool. - The working hours will vary between 7.30-6. These will be confirmed the end of every week on a rota basis. - Required to work with small groups of children to deliver set activities against the EYFS. - Complete observations and assist with future planning and ideas for activities. - Assisting with personal care as and when required. - The role is ongoing and dependent on children's numbers but could go permanent. About the nursery: - The nursery has fantastic links with local primary schools and also offers and after school club. - Caters for children with 15 and 30 hours free funding. - The Nursery caters for children from 6 months to 5 year old. - They also offer term time and 51 week childcare options. - Great location and links from Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall. About you: - Minimum of a level 3 in childcare or education is essential. - Experienced working with children from birth to 5 years old. - Confident working with and delivering the EYFS - Passionate about working with a large group of early years professionals to provide a high quality of care. - Able to provide 2 years’ worth of references. - Hold a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS check.
