Job Title: Paraplanner/Trainee IFA Location: Exeter Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 The Company: A Specialist Financial Planning firm who offer advice across Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, Mortgages and Protection are looking to add to their advising team. This firm have strong professional connections with a National partner that provides a steady lead source as well as offering full back office, paraplanning and compliance support. They are a growing firm with a good reputation and multiple advisors across several offices. The Role: Due to ongoing success and increased demand from clients for advice in the South West, this firm is looking to add a new advisor to the team who they can develop and help build a client base. The idea will be that this is a paraplanning role for the next year or 2 to get someone fully up to speed with the firms processes and procedures, and then for it to transition into an advisory role with the leads that are generated by the firm being given to the incoming candidate. There is full back office support and will be leads, clients and training available. Given the timeframes, this role would suit a paraplanner who has ambitions to advise and is interested in getting into a well-established firm that can work with them for this to happen. The Required Skills: Essential: - Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or significant progress towards this - Experience of working within a Financial Planning Firm in a paraplanning position previously - Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner. - Motivated and driven professional Desirable: - Strong knowledge around Pensions and Investments - An ambition to continue study towards Chartered Status ideally
