Recruitment Consultant - Permanent - Veterinary Key details; Location: Woodbury , Near-Exeter, Devon, UK Job Title: Recruitment Consultant Division: Veterinary Surgeons & Veterinary Nurses Contract: Permanent Type: Full Time (37 hours) Global Veterinary Careers are recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our UK based team. We are looking to connect with individuals who have previous experience of working in a recruitment agency, ideally from a 360 background, or have relevant sales / targeted experiences from other industries. The vacancy we are currently recruiting for, would be to join us at your earliest start date and assist with the recruitment of veterinary professionals on permanent contracts throughout the UK & Europe. Candidate Profile; This role would suit someone who enjoys being in charge of their own desk and managing their timetable. You’re a proven recruiter, with an extensive billing history. You’re looking to take the next step in your career and build a team. You’re passionate about what you do. You have a good telephone manner and enjoy connecting with new clients / candidates. You’re a genuine team player who is enthused by the ambitious expansion plans of the company. Key Responsibilities; Predominately telephone based, making a high number of outbound calls on a daily basis to perspective clients and candidates. Building lasting relationships with your client base. Offering an unrivalled quality recruitment service to promote repeat business. Discussing recruitment strategies and the benefits of using GVC to your client base. Offering advertising support on all vacancies. Continuously seeking to attract veterinary nurses and assist in their quest for a new position, this may involve headhunting. Negotiating on your candidates behalf and dealing with any potential counter offers.
