Overview
Activities Co-ordinator based at The Meadow, Muswell Hill. Available Hours: Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week. Looking to use your skills to benefit older people in a homely environment? We are currently recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator to join our team and to work within the Home to provide activity opportunities for our residents. In conjunction with the senior team, you will be responsible for planning and running a programme of activities for the residents linked to assessed social needs identified in care plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting activities that older people enjoy and find stimulating. Your ability to design and facilitate group activities is essential. The Meadow in Muswell Hill is a residential and dementia care home with 40 rooms, 16 of which are designated for dementia specialist care. The home was recently refurbished at a cost of GBP 460,000 and sits in extensive grounds. Residents described the home as so peaceful " you would think you were in the middle of the country." In fact, The Meadow is only minutes away from a busy shopping centre in the London Borough of Haringey. We are a short bus journey from Highgate Station and located close to Muswell Hill Broadway.
