POST TITLE: Temporary Role RESPONSIBLE TO: Home Manager The award-winning Gold Care Homes is offering fantastic opportunities to people looking for immediate placements. The roles: * You will be required to undertake various roles such as a Care, Kitchen Assistant, Activities Coordinator, Laundry Assistant or Domestic * You will receive full training and will be provided with the correct uniform Care The role will involve Care of residents and to work in a team environment, deliver physical, psychological and social care to the frail elderly residents of the home and meeting the needs and supporting the smooth running of the routines within the home. Other responsibilities will include assisting with medication distribution; acting as a team member, answering enquiries from visitors and professional bodies associated with the care of the residents, and ensuring that any enquiries or tasks beyond knowledge or capability are passed on to the Senior in charge of the shift. Kitchen Assistant The role will involve being responsible for ensuring that the kitchen and related areas are always maintained in a clean and safe condition; observing and maintaining food hygiene standards. To assist the Head Chef/Second Chef as directed in food preparation. Activities Coordinator The role will involve planning and organising activities for all residents in the Home, at various times during the day. There will be times when additional hours may be required in order to facilitate outings and event, therefore a flexible approach will be adopted for residents to receive the greatest advantage. Laundry Assistant The role is to maintain and organisation of the laundry, ensuring all residents' clothes are appropriately laundered, ironed, mended and returned to individual residents. Domestic The role will ensure the cleaning and hygienic maintenance of the Home. They will keep a high standard of appearance to contribute to the quality of care and lifestyle afforded to each client. This is particularly applicable to each client's privacy and dignity and in respect of each client's personal possessions. Shifts: * We can provide flexible shifts to suit you Requirements: * You must be willing to do all roles detailed above as and when required by the care home. * You will be required to pass a DBS check and provide satisfactory references. Tasks and responsibilities within your area of capability may vary occasionally depending upon the needs of the business. You may be asked to undertake a variation of your normal routine to meet these needs. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will be appreciated.
