Overview

Purchase Ledger Clerk required for an exciting temporary to permanent opportunity, working for one of our fantastic clients based in Birmingham. Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in processing high volumes of invoices. Main duties will include - Match, batch and code a high volumes of purchase ledger invoices - Complete payments - Controlling expenses by receiving payments - Processing, verifying and reconciling invoices - Preparing and running BACS payments - Reconciling supplier statements - Working out VAT payments Our client is looking for someone who is a strong team player and has the ability to work independently, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to hit the ground running. You must have excellent IT skills and previous experience with a computerised accountancy package is essential. My client, based in Birmingham, with an open and friendly working environment. They offer a 37.5 hour working week, with flexible working hours, on-site parking and are easily commutable by public transport.
