Overview
Blackstone Recruitment on behalf of an armed forces charity are currently recruiting a locum Personal & Family Support Worker for a contract position. The Personal Support and Social Work service team provides comprehensive and confidential support, with a special focus on services for adults, but including children, young people and their families. As part of your role you will be expected to; Carry a caseload and effectively manage the workload with available resources. Recognise and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, manage uncertainty and prioritise accordingly. Undertake need assessments, planning and delivering appropriate interventions. Additionally to identify emerging unmet need and develop intervention and strategies to meet such need. Undertake administration tasks related to the role, including collation and preparation of a range of welfare statistics on a monthly basis. You should have an NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent work experience
