Overview
A well-known Leisure/Retail business based in Warrington are currently recruiting for a Finance Director. Reporting into the CFO you will lead a team of direct reports, plus indirect finance team reporting from finance hubs. Taking full ownership for operational finance and all policies and procedures which protect the business and ensure full transparency of company's position & value, you will consistently seek to maximise efficient use of resources and safeguard of assets. You will provide balanced, impartial and critical viewpoint on divisional financial and other performance and recommend remedial actions. Main Responsibilities ? Strategy & planning process ? Reporting & Measurement ? Control, compliance & integrity of all financial processes ? Review Process ? Financial processes ? People & commercial awareness within the business ? Focus on controls, process & procedure. ? Create a best in class finance department ? Checks & balances, Key Reporting information flow, Assessment of Risk, Statutory accounting, Cash Flow, Liquidity You must show strong leadership presence within the financial central office and offer clear direction to the teams on a daily basis. You will have clear visible role in the senior team and work with wider exec team to ensure alignment with brand activity and ensure process support company growth whilst ensuring process is followed. In order to be considered you will be a fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACA Finance Director or existing Financial controller looking for that next step up.
