Overview
This international engineering group in Warrington are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the business in a high profile role, working with board level stakeholders in a role expected to influence longer term strategic decision-making. Working in a key position within the Finance function, supporting the MD & Commercial Director, your core duties will include; Key stakeholders in shaping Business strategy and measuring progress Producing complex forecasts & budgets with regional teams Performing monthly business reviews and ensuring good financial governance Interface between board level operational functions & central finance & accounting team Finance Business Partner to Managing Director, helping drive performance Attending monthly contract reviews and applying financial controls Monthly forecasting / strategic reviews Analysis of monthly results including; detailed sales and margin analysis, identifying trends, potential risks and opportunities Review of monthly management accounts Weekly review of working capital with Operational team Review of weekly cashflow forecasts Streamlining reporting processes Ad-hoc reporting requests to support Regional Director and UK improvement projects Collaboration with Finance Business Partner colleagues to standardise processes Measuring performance of improvement projects and providing objective view of performance Key requirements; Qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA or equivalent) Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance Manager role Good experience in both financial accounting and management reporting.
