Overview
Role- Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsman Salary- £27,000- £40,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for) Type- Permanent Location- West Sussex My client design and manufacture a range of products for the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer/ CAD Draughtsman, on a permanent basis, in the West Sussex area. The Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsman will ideally have the following attributes: HND/ Degree qualified or similar in either Mechanical Engineering 2 years or more industry experience would be desirable working in a similar role with CAD Be proficient with using CAD - SolidWorks Experience of working with AutoCAD or Tekla as well would be beneficial Very good attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team The Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsman role will involve: Working alongside the Senior Draughtsman Supporting the project teams in the production of drawings and 3D models Working with SolidWorks and Tekla CAD software Being involved in monitoring job progress Maintaining drawing office documents and records If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
