If so, please read on Cordant People are currently recruiting for a Translations Coordinator on behalf of our client in Montrose. This is a full-time, permanent position which will see the successful candidate involved in an diverse range of project work within a highly reputable organisation. The Role: Prepare and maintain project documentation. Plan, schedule and monitor translation projects. Proofread and conduct quality checks/ self-audits on translated files. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to agree project requirements and deadlines. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with translators, reviewers and technical consultants. Assist with translation tool software and associated tasks. Input translation data into bespoke software and other in-house systems. Maintain and develop glossaries, translation memories and other language resources. The Candidate: Passionate about languages. High IT proficiency (Microsoft Office). Knowledge of CAT software would be highly advantageous. Able to work on own initiative or effectively as part of a team. Able to prioritise workload based on most urgent business needs.
