Overview
Our client operates throughout the UK and is a huge success story, backed by a US PE house, this is a dynamic and very profitable business. They now require an experienced Interim candidate, available at short notice, with a Temp to perm possibility for the right candidate, to manage all the day to day finances, statutory and management reporting as well as transactions, Audit and compliance. Managing a large team, the role and requires a seasoned hands on Controller, with outstanding man management ability and good technical accounting ability. This role reports to the Group CFO and is a genuine No2 in the Finance function. The ideal candidate will have significant post qualification experience within a multisite business (e.g Retail, Leisure, Property etc) having gained a Professional Accountancy Qualification as well as being able to demonstrate the characteristics below; Expert understanding and knowledge of financial accounting and reporting Highly technically minded and high attention to detail Strong commercial acumen and confident in making business decisions This is a unique opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to join a growing brand leader playing a fundamental part in its finance function.
