Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Client Manager/Accountant seeking extensive career progression to join a highly regarded firm of accountants with a reputation for high standards in their client service offering. Based in Manchester City Centre, you'll manage a portfolio of the firm’s clients working with a wide variety and diversity of sectors and business sizes; from entrepreneurial business start-ups through to established corporate businesses throughout the UK. You'll be providing general practice services as well business advisory, tax advice and financial and management accounting. This opportunity is ideal if you enjoy diversity of work and enjoy working closely with your clients and colleagues. We’re looking for people who have the desire to make a real difference for their clients and who take pride in providing a top quality, personal service. Ensuing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Ltd companies are prepared to the highest standard - quality assurance A thorough understanding and knowledge of the latest technical Accounting processes, procedures, compliance requirements and implications on clients Business Development opportunities Person specification Qualified ACCA or equivalent qualification - ideally 2 years experience post qualification experience within a firm of accountants High calibre candidate with strong accounting experience Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills An advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft and accounting systems (Freeagent, Xero, IRIS, SAGE etc. desirable.
