Management Accountant
Overview
We are currently recruiting an Management Accountant role for a £multimillion turnover Manufacturing/Distribution business near Preston. You will be based in a small team supporting the FD with the monthly management accounts and reporting process for the main business and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate management information, as well as providing daily operational support to cross functional teams. Key Responsibilities Assist with the Management Accountant to produce the monthly management accounts Assist with annual budgets Accruals and prepayments Bank reconcilations Posting journals EC Sales and Intrastat National statistics Assist with Credit Control; posting cash etc Identify system/process improvements Provide cover and support rest of the Team as required Candidate Requirements AAT Part Qualified or AAT Qualified or QBE Excellent knowledge of finance systems and Excel skills (including formulas and data manipulation) Good communication skills are a must with the ability to communicate at all levels Good time management and team working skills Knowledge of SAGE desirable Howarth Morris A leading North West based Finance and HR Recruitment Consultancy.
