Part Time Project Manager opportunity, on a 6 month FTC to oversee GDPR implementation for a global company Your new company A global manufacturing company Your new role As Project Manager, to lead the company GDPR initiative, collaborating with all relevant departments and group companies to ensure that the Corporation and its subsidiaries are GDPR compliant and that all regulations are met on an ongoing basis. Full duties include: Perform a risk assessment to identify gaps in the Group's compliance with GDPR Build a project plan for the company and all its subsidiaries and execute against the plan Ensure that appropriate agreements are in place with external data processors and data controllers including any international transfers Support the business in creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation demonstrating its compliance with GDPR Prepare training material and presentations, train staff as appropriate. Set up a program of self-review to ensure continued compliance with GDPR Review and assess the action plan suggesting improvements where appropriate, to ensure continued compliance with European data privacy obligations, including GDPR Become the day to day primary point of contact for internal and external GDPR enquiries Manage data subject requests for information, access, correction and deletion Any other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as required What you'll need to succeed My client is looking for a Project Manager with experience project managing a GDPR implementation in a fast pace and challenging environment,good knowledge of Data Protection, Risk, Audit, Privacy and GDPR regulations. You will need to be relationship builder with strong communication skills both written and spoken with the ability to communicate effectively and translate privacy and compliance topics across a diverse set of businesses and with staff at all levels, including senior management As well as this, the following is required: A hands-on approach able to operate proactively and independently Experience working with data platforms that capture customer data Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities with limited instruction Fluent in English, but capable to working with different cultures Must be a fast and methodical worker, with excellent attention to detail and able to ensure deadlines are met What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
