Maintenance Deputy Leader (Building and Facilities) - Full time - Based in Goldthorpe, Barnsley Salary: starting £24400 rising to £27200 25 Days holiday bank Holidays free car parking Full Time permanent opportunity - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week ¼ Saturdays, day shift. You will be the eyes and ears, managing a busy team of maintenance engineers. You will prioritise servicing and repairs of the facilities and buildings. This is a fantastic opportunity working for a household name based in Goldthorpe. The candidate will report directly into the Section Leader. The role is to assist the Section Leader in achieving the required service levels at all time so experience in a similar role is essential. This role offers an excellent progression opportunity for the right candidate. The role: In your day to day role, you will be an important part of a small team that keeps everything running smoothly. Reporting and repairing problems, keeping records up to date and using your engineering skills to keep the building and facilities in full working order. Responsible for training and development of employees. Responsible for the inspection and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical installations in the regional centre Responsible for the inspection and maintenance of the regional centre including paintwork, loading docs, doors and floors. You will be tasked with engaging and developing the knowledge and initiative of their team to follow the principles of the brand. Skills and experience: A background in MHE Engineering or a similar background is essential for the role.
