Production Shift Leader - £21,300 / Bonus ( Capped at £325 PCM ) / 2k Shift Allowance Excellent opportunity to join an exceptional market leading corporate power infrastructure company. They offer future opportunities to work globally should that be something you wish to do. Role Outline Reporting to the Production Manager you will be based on site at the Nottingham location. As Shift Manager you will be responsible for over 30 staff on each shift. The shifts are days and evenings 3 shift 6-2 10 - 6 & 2-10. You will need to have come from a manufacturing background ideally in a foundry type environment utilizing CNC machinery. The business makes Lightning protection components so as you can imagine there is lots of copper work going on eg Extrusion, assembly cells etc You need to have proven experience in managing and directing production staff working a shift pattern. The right candidate will need to be very flexible in their approach to work, able to communicate with others well and effectively plan their day as well as the staff. Responsibilities will include : Manage, develop and motivate direct reports Allocate, coordinate and oversee the delivery of shift plan execution across multiple machines to deliver production. Work alongside maintenance department to ensure delivery of PPM Play an active role with regards to CI Ensure all lean practices are being adhered to. Requirements : Any related qualifications IOSH Proven experience in running a shift in a manufacturing discipline Experience in an environment that uses CNC machinery Experience in continual improvement Great attention to detail Needs to be very well organised. knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel Fluent written & spoken English Salary/Benefits £21,300 Bonus (Capped at £325 per month ) Shift Allowance ( circa £2000 ) Company Pension OT on occasion URGENT DEADLINE - Please apply to this position immediately if it is of interest.
