We have a fantastic opportunity for a Planning Controller to join our Daventry operation and manage a small team. Within this role you will support our Senior Operations Manager and pro-actively support the team with briefs, employee appraisals, IDFs and workloads. You will ensure all orders are planned effectively and work closely with the Planning Team to ensure all contractual metrics and KPIs are achieved and review the processes with the team and control tower. You main responsibilities will be to; Supervise the allocation of work to all contract/site back office employees, ensuring they are motivated and have the skills and experience to contribute and maximise productivity Work closely with Senior Operations Manager to design and monitor KPI performance Review and improve contract/site performance and achieve all contractual targets and KPIs Ensure accurate and effective completion all centralised planning Ensure pro-active approach to cost control Attend internal reviews and meetings when required Undertake special projects when required, providing statistics and reports Assist in complaints and queries Ensure all LEAN requirements are met, including 5s across all areas of responsibility Attend development training as required To be successful in this role, you will have proven supervisory experience in a customer service and order planning environment, you will have strong administrative skills, IT literate and able to generate reports when required. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, a strong customer focus and the ability to work within a team or own your own initiative.
