Unit Drops Unit Drops is an e-commerce business and an extension of Unit London which focuses on limited prints and editions. In keeping with the gallery ethos, Unit Drops aims to increase accessibility for a younger generation, offering collectible artworks at accessible price points to help new and young collectors begin their journey of discovery and start collecting. Head of Development is a new role, designed to drive Unit Drops forward as we enter an exciting time of expansion for the e-commerce business. The Head of Development will lead the business across all operational, marketing and sales aspects of the company. They will play a strategic role in raising the profile of Unit Drops, helping to position the brand as a key player in print and art market circles; increasing print sales, securing releases with influential artists, and expanding the reach of Unit Drops to a wider audience using a multi-channel approach with a focus on social media, e-marketing and events. They will have a strong drive to the business forward, whilst ensuring that costs are kept to a minimum. Creating a development plan for Unit Drops will be at the core of their responsibilities and they will work with the senior team at Unit London to develop a clear strategy for how to achieve this. Engaging audiences on social media is a pivotal part of the role as is a natural affinity towards social media platforms. Key responsibilities: Developing and executing a long-term digital marketing strategy for the business Social media management; building the Instagram profile, ensuring the content is engaging Overseeing all marketing communications via Instagram and mail-outs via HubSpot for upcoming print releases; connecting and working with influencers and influential collectors Managing and work closely with Unit Drops Print Assistant to ensure smooth sales delivery process Maintaining stock of e-commerce items and merchandise, overseeing any new production Ensuring website is up-to-date and implementing any UX or design improvements as and when necessary Ensuring upcoming print releases are scheduled in the calendar, managing deadlines and ensuring printers are on schedule Ensuring the utmost standards of professional aftercare for clients purchasing prints is adhered to at all times by way of invoicing and ensuring deliveries are made safely etc. Keeping artist bios, inventory and links up-to-date on the Shopify website Person Specification: Minimum five years e-commerce experience, preferably using Shopify. Strong digital marketing experience, preferably with experience using Hubspot or similar CRM Experience in working with artists directly and a passion for the commercial art world Strong knowledge of artist’s editions and print production processes Proactive and self driven Manager with the ability to drive a department forwards A natural communicator with excellent written and oral skills Please apply with a CV and cover letter by an email via the button below outlining why you are suitable for the role.
