Overview

Exciting end to end highly strategic Procurement Buyer role looking after the Facilities Management category. High level autonomy with a support network in place to foster development and training. Client Details This organisation are market leading, household name and supermarket retailer who have a well recognised Procurement function. As a result, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most well recognised Procurement teams and keep moving on an upward trajectory. Description End to end sourcing activity within the FM category in areas including both hard and soft FM and a variety of subcategory areas. Stakeholder areas could range from security, to trading teams, to logistics. Developing and implementing category strategy and influencing stakeholder relationships to a senior level, acting as a trusted business advisor Risk Mitigation Commercially managing and delivering BAU activity such as supplier and contract reviews/renewals Profile A strong understanding of and experience within developing and implementing category plans/strategy Excellent interpersonal skills Strong problem solving skills and an ambitious, driven mindset with an ability to work autonomously Able to lead commercial negotiations and manage not only internal stakeholder relationships but suppliers as well Basic understanding of contract management Degree/CIPS/Equivalent qualification Job Offer An opportunity to work for an award winning team Excellent growth and development opportunities Work for an organisation who place emphasis on their values and sustainability An opportunity to work in an environment where you are valued as a long term investment Autonomy with support where necessary
