Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as focal point of contact for Regional IT manager (ITSC), Global Deployment team. Prioritize requirements, highlight any missing information and risks to business and challenge for clarification in time. Coordinate and execute Purchase Orders including full tracking up to delivery on site Ensure availability of all needed services to new site by implementing standard solutions where applicable or source regional/ local solutions when necessary. Review launches and adopt learnings and changes into future processes. Own effective materials management of all non-inventory packaging supplies and consumables Develop and utilize demand forecast models Manage vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance Liaise with suppliers to negotiate and secure best value for money deals on a full range of non-inventory goods and services Build effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring a high service level in terms of quotations and lead-times. Partnering with internal customers to positively influence spending decisions Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy, educating and driving the correct behaviors of business stakeholders. Manage and drive down the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure to pay process. Drive effective delivery of the EU procurement metrics by leading / supporting projects and initiatives identifying root cause of issues and corrective actions. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Ensure availability of all goods and services in time Ensure flawless start of post-launch procurement procedures in new sites Earn the trust of key stakeholders as the Procurement function transitions Ensure global alignment in all processes advocating actively improvements Define and report on key metrics that measure effectiveness of supply and cost savings Proactively support business owners to ensure equipment/ consumables/ service availability to meet agreed timescales EXPERIENCE: Good understanding of standard procurement & inventory management procedures as well as industry standards Very strong communication skills High precision in verbal and written communication Proficiency in using ERP systems in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment. Experienced in engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues Previous experience in Purchasing including supplier relationship management Experience in an international Company Contract and Price negotiation experience Very strong MS Excel skills Ability to work independently with limited general supervision. Root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills are important. Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive consensus when conflicting requirements are identified.
