Overview

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, self-starter to manage all our PR, Social Media and Outreach activity. The right candidate will demonstrate excellent written and communication skills as well as enthusiasm to learn, work effectively, and help the company grow. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in these areas who is looking to gain further hands-on experience and actually shape the strategy. Strategic direction will be provided, but ultimately, you'll have a high level of autonomy to execute the agreed objectives. Your responsibilities will include: • Identifying, approaching and engaging with key influencers (social/YouTube/bloggers) • Liaising with existing customers in order to agree, organise and collect customer testimonial content and publish to websites • Identifying high value websites/blogs from which we can earn links through content marketing initiatives • Actively sourcing new contacts for PR and Outreach working with bloggers/vloggers • Develop the strategy for organic social across brands, keeping the social media platforms up to date with fresh, new content • Working closely with the SEO manager to support the execution of the off-site SEO strategy • Suggesting ideas for content, requesting copy, design, video assets and more • Tracking & reporting on the success of your online activity • Ongoing monitoring of the accounts you manage and key competitors Essential Experience: • At least 5/10 years in a dedicated social/PR/outreach role, with evidence of your past success and stand-out achievements • Strong knowledge of SEO best practice and how links earn higher rankings • Experience in building long-term relationships with key publications/bloggers/influencers • Must have strong B2C B2B background • A keen instinct of how to 'sell' authentically online. • Strong English language skills • Highly organised self-starter with excellent time management skills The Perfect Person: • A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced and changeable e-commerce business • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the dynamics of a commercial on-line retailer • A team player with excellent communication skills able to build effective relationships both internally and externally is critical • You must be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure at times • Focused on the deliverable and keen to get involved in projects to further develop your own skill set • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to draw relevant business information This job was originally posted as www.caterer.com/job/89903236
