Overview

This highly successful large architecture practice is looking for an experienced HR Manager. They are a great firm with 2 UK offices who have a varied portfolio of projects across sectors. As the HR Manager your key duties cover the following: Key responsibilities Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of HR Preparing and managing welfare and admin budget Managing recruitment process – developing job descriptions, placing advertisements, updating website, scheduling briefing calls with agencies, negotiating agency rates, liaising with internal selection team, booking interviews, updating spreadsheets, printing packs, collating feedback, making offers to successful candidates New starter administration – creating offer letters and contracts, collecting references and other paperwork, scheduling, overseeing and monitoring attendance at inductions Overseeing induction process Monitoring and maintaining all staff records Updating HR systems: Creating new working week schemes Calculating annual holiday and updating Union Square Monitoring and reporting on sickness leave and absence Providing the bids team with updated information as required Monitoring short term contract reviews, scheduling meetings, producing relevant paperwork and updating HR systems Scheduling 3 and 6 month reviews for new starters, collecting forms and collating feedback and training requirements Scheduling exit interviews for leavers and processing on HR systems Running administration of annual reviews – booking meetings, preparing copies of all paperwork and reviews pack for appraisers, collecting forms, collating feedback Scheduling and booking training and maintaining the schedule and collecting feedback on training provided, mentoring scheme administration and buddy allocation Assisting with CPDs Organising gifts and cards for leavers, celebrations, new babies, Part III qualification Maintaining soft and hard copy personnel filing and archiving Ensure GDPR compliance for all HR data Coordination of SWAG (staff welfare group) Skills required Sound knowledge of employment law and HR processes Excellent communication skills and calm and professional manner Excellent organisational skills High level of attention to detail Able to prioritise Confident telephone manner Good knowledge of Microsoft Office You'll need to be a real people person with CIPD qualifications and ideally experience in architecture, construction, engineering or anything creative.
