Overview
Are you a care worker dedicated to helping others and committed to excellence in your work? If so, we're looking for a full-time Homecare Worker in the Lanarkshire area. Working flexible hours and earning £9 per hour weekdays / £10 per hour weekends, you'll support and assist senior staff in the care, comfort and wellbeing of service users and their children. Outline of the role: Working as part of a Homecare team, and individually, you'll ensure all service users are personally cared for with the highest standards of dignity, kindness and empathy. As well as assisting with general housekeeping (e.g. laundry, cleaning, serving meals), you'll ensure individual care plans are supported and that individuals have access to appropriate activities while maintaining their confidentiality at all times. What we're looking for: We need someone devoted, caring and able to take on a full-time role as a Homecare Worker in the Lanarkshire area. This rewarding care role, which pays £9 an hour weekdays/£10 an hour weekends, also requires you to complete accurate records. You'll undertake other tasks as needed for the care home, and ensure all work complies with health and safety rules and relevant policies and procedures. What you'll need to provide: SVQ Level 2/3 in Care, or a willingness to complete it. An understanding of person-centred care and care support, preferably with two years' experience of working with vulnerable adults. Excellent communication, empathy and people skills.
