Engineering Manager Employment type: Permanent, full-time Location: Cleckheaton Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Salary: £30,000-£35,000 p.a. company benefits Are you an Incorporated Engineer, looking for an opportunity in the field of compliance? My client is currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join their business on a permanent basis in West Yorkshire. They assist their customers in achieving compliance and meeting safety regulations within engineering. The role Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of field-based Surveying Engineers. You will advise on best practice and answer technical questions from clients and colleagues. You will be responsible for assurance checks of reports from Surveyors, ensuring that best practice is met. You will also manage my client's audit programme and seek to make improvements with the Engineering Director to the Engineering department. Several times a month, you will also visit client sites to oversee audits and work with the Surveying Engineers. Experience/ Skills Required Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with a defined route to achieve chartered status (CEng) Good level of mechanical engineering aptitude Previous managerial experience is preferred Excellent communication skills Audit, compliance or safety documentation experience (desirable) Experience of AutoCAD (desirable) This is a great opportunity to join an organisation with an excellent reputation in their field.
