We are now looking for an experienced and self-motivated Ecommerce Solutions Architect to join the team, working alongside our clients and development team to build out specifications and architect elegant solutions for complex problems. The role involves working with both existing and new clients and supporting the development team to gather requirements, scope out projects and figure out solutions for our client’s problems. You will also be involved in pitch situations, helping to showcase the experience and expertise the company has. You will work alongside all aspects of the business, whether this be the sales team to help gather requirements, the client services team to scope out new projects for existing clients or the developers to document and run through potential solutions. Main Responsibilities · Working with our clients to architect eloquent solutions to complex problems, whether this be working with related partners who offer solutions to match our customers’ requirements or scoping out custom extensions that match their needs. · Working with clients and our internal teams to gather requirements, write functional specification documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and assist our developers with documentation to support website builds and maintenance. · Assist the QA team in ensuring deliverables meet business requirements. · Determine whether existing extensions the company have built can be utilised to meet client’s requirements, alongside providing visibility to the internal teams on core extensions which could be built in order to help speed up projects and provide better experiences for our clients. · Work closely with developers to debug and solve website defects, alongside providing strategic recommendations to clients based on data insights and best practices. · Working with our partners to understand their solutions, how they work and which clients may benefit from their services. Example partners are Klarna, Nosto, Klevu etc. · Helping build proposals for clients considering a move to Magento and figuring out which solution is right for them (Magento Open Source, Commerce, Commerce Cloud etc). · Providing general support around eCommerce best practices for clients and junior members of our internal team. · Constant research into eCommerce technology to ensure that we remain in-the-know around new and emerging technologies (across areas such as magento, payments, shipping, merchandising, returns, analytics etc) Main Skills and Experience · We are looking for someone who is passionate, hard-working and has determination to succeed. · 2 years’ experience in eCommerce focused roles and solid experience with core eCommerce principles · A good understanding of WMS, ERP, Payment Gateways, Shipping Systems and other 3rd party integrations frequently used within eCommerce businesses. · A strong analytical mind to help understand opportunities our clients can benefit from · A good balance of customer service and commercial awareness · Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when scoping and documenting tasks · Have advanced client liaison and communication skills and an ability to develop, nurture and maintain customer relationships building customer confidence and satisfaction so they come back to us for future projects. · Have experience of managing key documentation and client communication and ensuring a clear audit trail of communication. · Have experience of taking details of client’s requirements and creating detailed briefs and of running client workshops and planning meetings. · Ability to work with minimal supervision with an ability to plan and prioritise your own time and workload to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met on time and to the required standard. · Have meticulous attention to detail to ensure messages are consistent in terms of voice, strategy and brand · Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create rapport with colleagues, clients and management · Provide positive contributions to a team-working environment “Serata Search are operating as an Employment Agency” This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89854364
