Cambridge – Lead Software Engineer – Circa £75k My client is a software solutions consultancy, they work with a very broad portfolio of clients and help to solve complex challenges in design and engineering. The right candidate will be a hands-on developer whilst leading a small team of developers and testers. Main Duties: Develop back-end solutions to enable clients to manage their materials databases Ensure best practices and processes are carried out across the engineering team Keep product suites and software packages up to date to meet clients changing requirements Lead, mentor and guide your small team of developers. Offer guidance throughout day to day activities, provide technical support and support your teams career development. Experience Required: Experienced working with multiple languages including C# and .Net. Experience in a technical team lead position The ability to work alongside customers to gain a good understanding of customer requirement alongside any usability issues SQL Server experience – understanding of the optimized, performant and scalable use The salary will be circa £75k for this position depending on experience.
