The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focused 1 st Line Support Engineer to join a prestigious, international IT Service Provider that specialise in innovative Cloud technologies and solutions. This role will be joining a talented team that support a 24/7 function in their offices based in Caerphilly The Role The 1 st Line Support Engineer will be the first point of contact for customers with technical issues and will be responsible for resolving issues in a professional manner. Day to day duties for the 1 st Line Support Engineer include: · Resolve client queries via phone / email / portal · Regularly communicate with clients and provide updates when necessary · Escalate issues accordingly to the right support teams · Handle change management requests as per schedule · Document all changes in line with the change management process Key Skills Experiences Required · Experience of working in a busy Helpdesk IT environment · Understanding of infrastructure technologies: Microsoft Windows Server, Networking, Storage, Back up etc. · Understanding of ITIL framework · Outstanding customer service skills · Strong verbal and written skills – must be able to log queries, document processes etc. · VMware, Azure or AWS knowledge is advantageous Permanent Salary: up to £25,800 quarterly bonus and benefits including online training portal Location: Caerphilly The role operates on a Dunpont shift pattern If this 1 st line Support Engineer role is of interest please send your CV in for review This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89956045
