The Role As a Sogeti UK consultant, you will be part of the Testing & Quality Assurance specialists and represent Sogeti by providing expert solutions to our customers to help us maintain our position as a leader in the market. You will work on different client sites in a range of industries that include; well known global grands, government, finance, insurance, aerospace and media/digital. You will gain exposure to a variety of tools and technologies that will allow you to continuously develop as a subject matter expert in testing. As an Automation Test Manager / Consultant at Sogeti, you can:- · Work with the latest testing tools and upskill in different technologies through our work on various customer sites. · Work onsite, representing the global Sogeti brand with a range of customers to gain invaluable experience, quickly. Customers include well known global grands, government, finance, insurance, aerospace and media/digital. · Gain experience within a market leader in Next-Generation Software Testing Services. · Have a genuine and transparent career path mapped out; We prefer to promote from within rather than recruit externally so you’ll have every opportunity to develop. · We encourage continuous learning and development by providing you the tools and support to drive your own career in the direction you want As an Automation Test Manager / Consultant, we’re looking for:- · Experience in an Automation Test Management role. · Previous Technical Test Team leading/Managing experience. Ideally someone who has a background in Automation, ideally eggPlant (or similar GUI Automation tool) or Selenium (or other technical Testing e.g. Performance testing) with some management experience i.e. dealing with stakeholders & third parties. Still hands on but has moved into leading teams\management. · Understanding of processes for Agile, Scrum or Kanban. · Performance Test Team leading experience. Has either managed a Performance resource, or has worked closely with Performance teams e.g. NFRs. · Experience with Zephyr and Confluence. · Experience of supplier test assurance and improving test processes. · Strong root cause analysis skills, able to read, understand and pinpoint errors. · Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills, as you’ll be dealing with teams and 3rd parties across various sites. · Flexibility on travel / work locations (working as a consultant could take you to customer sites across the UK). · ISTQB foundation or above certification.
