Overview
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a 12mth FTC supporting a senior hedge fund manager for a very well Established wealth management firm. This is supporting someone at a very senior level, working to tight and demanding deadlines, this role will commence on 03/02/2019. Skills required for the position: Extensive diary management - gatekeeper for Head of Fund Management Assistance with meeting arrangements as required, ensuring Head of Fund Management are fully prepared for all meetings including but not limited to production of meeting packs, agendas, location details in advance Collating and distributing papers as required, and preparing presentation decks Collate information and send to Marlborough on a weekly basis Management of travel bookings and all itinerary planning Inc. flights, taxis, hotels Writing and proof reading documents as required, e.g. e-mails/reports for Head of Fund Management, presentations etc. Answering and screening incoming telephone calls, relaying accurate messages for the Fund Management team in a professional and timely manner Processing expenses and invoices for payment for the Head of Fund Management Scanning, photocopying and binding packs as required Typing letters, e-mails, assisting with the preparation of paperwork and/or amending Power-point presentations Keep and maintain accurate paper and electronic records & ensure the filing system for Company Research is kept organised. Ensure department filing is completed by the end of each day, and making sure sensitive information is not left on display Minute meetings as requested, and complete the typing up of minutes for distribution in a timely manner Undertake any additional tasks as requested including some non-fund management related tasks as required to ensure full day to day support for the Head of Fund Management Support with drafting communications/reports etc. Skills required: Strong time management and organisational abilities Attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills - able to communicate professionally, effectively at all levels within the Company and with external clients Able to multi-task, work to deadlines and adapt and operate effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving, often pressurised environment Proven experience supporting senior level roles as well as teams, ideally in a financial services environment Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power-point and Outlook Maintains and promotes high ethical standards by demonstrating honesty, integrity and fair dealing at all times internally and externally, promoting and enhancing the good reputation of the firm Ability to be flexible with working hours to accommodate meeting times
