Overview

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Full-Stack PHP Developer to join a growing web development team based in Derby, to work primarily on implementing and maintaining back-end functionality within new and existing websites and web applications. The team has dedicated Front-end Developers, but you will also be required to work on front-end projects occasionally, depending on workloads and deadlines. You will be responsible for scoping, estimating, developing and testing websites and web-based software. You will be heavily involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle - from the initial planning stages to implementation and maintenance. You will be required to follow best development practices with regards to writing, testing and documenting your code. You will report directly to the Web Development Manager, but you will be required to work closely with the project management, design, development and sales teams on a day-to-day basis.
