The Company A successful Global HVAC Manufacturer with an incredible reputation built up of nearly 80 years operating at the highest level within the industry. Our Client is a Manufacturer of Specialist Heating & Cooling Solutions. The Role · To promote the companies off the shelf and bespoke air movement/air distribution products along with their core product offering in a solutions sales capacity. · Sales route will be via specification-based consultant sales and contractor order placement within the Construction, Building Services, HVAC or Heating and Ventilation Industry · You will be responsible for both generation of sales leads and managing the process from initial enquiry to placement of order including final negotiation · The role will involve maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new customers within the area · Supported by our estimating team you will however be able to select and cost the product using our bespoke software package, training will be provided · You will report to the Managing Director NATURE AND SCOPE · Presentations and seminars · Planning of meetings · Monthly sales reports · Following up on sales leads · Evaluate market potential · Understand market requirements · Technical advice · Prices and quotations, when required to do so · Negotiation on contracts Major challenges of the role: · Competitive market place · Pressure on Price/ Profitability · Maturity of projects THE CANDIDATE · Should be highly self-motivated and able to work from home · Good interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential along with the ability to provide customer presentations · Verbal and written communication ability should be of the highest standard · Computer literate including use of word, excel, PowerPoint (for presentations) and email DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience: · 5 years’ experience in HVAC sector · Engineering knowledge to a minimum of HND or degree · Ability to understand Air movement / Air Distribution – Air Handling and closely aligned solutions on a technical level · 2-5 years track record within sales or application / sales role · Passion for selling and account management · Ability to communicate with a wide range of people · Ability to work with different groups within our Client’s organisation and through the engineering consultancies to design engineered/ applied solutions Salary & Benefits STRONG BASIC EXCELLENT RESULTS DRIVEN COMMISSION SCHEME CAR ALLOWANCE PENSION HEALTHCARE LIFE ASSURANCE 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PHONE LAPTOP ETC Location MIDLANDS / EAST MIDLANDS / NORTHERN HOME COUNTIES – NATIONAL CAPACITY We are constantly seeking candidates within the Construction Material Sales Sector in the following roles: Sales Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Specification Sales Executive, Specification Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Field Sales, Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Field Sales Executive, Field Sales Representative, National Account Manager, Account Executive, Territory Sales Executive, Area Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Internal Sales, Sales Office Manager, Key Accounts Sales, National Account Sales, National Sales Manager and Sales Director.
