As a Business Development Executive, you'll be instrumental in improving and growing our business by finding and developing relationships with prospects, customers, suppliers and other partners. Youll need to have a nose for an opportunity and be willing to run an experiment to test your hunch. You will be relentlessly curious about how what we do can make our customers win the data race and be first over the line. You will carry out careful analysis, strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets to refine the strength of our propositions. You will be on the front line of our go-to-market plan, pitching our ideas and listening to feedback to adjust and improve our marketing experiments. Ultimately, your goal is to create qualified opportunities for our sales team to smash into the back of the net. You will be part of a crack Marketing squad, with the opportunity to spend time in our shiny new, super sexy HQ in Milton Keynes. However this role will have UK wide reach, so work from home, your garden, the park, anywhere! Requirements As a Business Development Executive, you'll be involved in: * Identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services, seeking out the appropriate contacts in an organisation * Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers * Meeting with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone * Understanding the needs of your customers and being able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these * Having a good understanding of the businesses' products & services and be able to advise others about them * Working closely with the Marketing team to execute campaigns and feed-back critical front-line intelligence * Developing and executing Social Media & Digital promotional strategies using LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or any new and upcoming tools * Working closely with the Sales team to provide fully qualified leads and opportunities to the required standard * Tracking and measuring campaign success against agreed KPIs and targets * Running and attending webinars, seminars, conferences and events where appropriate * Keeping abreast of trends and changes in the business world * Developing applications to relevant procurement frameworks * Monitoring relevant purchasing frameworks for suitable opportunities to apply for and applying for R&D grants and funding as appropriate * Creating award submissions to drive recognition for AiimiYoull be an Aiimi person through and through creative, bold, caring and a true expert at what you do.
