Overview
Our client is a leading alternative asset manager Key Responsibilities: Development and implementation of the UK Compliance Programme, covering all areas of advisory and monitoring work - to include Code of Conduct, Financial Crime, Market Abuse, Unbundling, Data Protection, Third Party Risk, Conduct Risk ·Identify and interpret areas of regulatory change to impact UK’s operations, proposing enhancements to the Compliance Programme to observe those new requirements · Work with Compliance colleagues in other offices to design and implement global standardised Compliance practices across those offices, where appropriate · Establish and implement a risk-based global training programme, incorporating classroom and on-line sessions · Provide support in relation to the ongoing oversight of a Conduct Risk programme, comprising conduct risk metrics, tracking and reporting/escalation in observance of SMCR · Assist Compliance colleagues with the implementation and ongoing management of Compliance software applications · Provide support to information and document requests from internal audit, risk and control teams as well as external audits · Preparation of Management Information to feed UK’s suite of governance committees, including GP boards Professional Experience: Previous Experience in compliance in financial services; ideally private equity,venture capital or hedge funds Experience of working in a global organisation Legal qualifications preferred Willingness to engage and “roll up sleeves” and a hands-on approach This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/88767347
