Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of ¾ years design engineering experience? Do have experience designing rotating equipment, rotating machinery, gas turbines, aero engines, pumps, rotating parts of similar? Are you looking to take on a very varied and challenging role and be an integral, senior part of the engineering team? If so, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of bespoke mechanical equipment for a variety of different industries (Oil and Gas, Power generation etc.)to take on a varied role within the team to take responsibility for design of a variety of heavy duty mechanical equipment as well as project and customer support. Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Essential Requirements / Experience: · Must have experience designing rotating equipment, rotating machinery, gas turbines, aero engines, pumps, rotating parts of similar rotating products · The successful candidate will have solid core design skills with proven experience in a design engineering / mechanical engineering position with a minimum of 3 years’ experience · Proficient with a 3D CAD Package (Any package is suitable) Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Salary and Benefits · Competitive annual salary £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (Flexible dependant on experience level) · Annual Bonus · Pension Scheme · Personal Progression and Career Development Opportunities · Based near Weshill, Abderdeen, Newburgh area Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer The Role · As a Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer you be working in a varied and well-rounded role split between technical design (50%) of bespoke mechanical equipment using Solidworks (Any CAD package is suitable, background is more important) · You will also be the technical point of contact for customers for this site and responsible for all operational and project support · Supporting other areas of the business when required If you are an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing rotating equipment and looking to join a global design and manufacturing firm working on bespoke mechanical equipment for a variety of different industries, please apply now.
