Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a business based in Doncaster who are looking to recruit a Junior Web Developer. Acting as the primary interface between the business and the 3rd party Technology providers, you will be supporting the Workshop teams in their use of the website platform and related tools. Day-to-day tasks include: - Assisting the online content team to successfully implement day-to-day and major campaign changes, including rich content - Monitoring and Analysing Site Performance following both code and content changes and using this analysis to recommend and drive continual improvements - Investigating user-reported website issues and resolving or escalating to third party support/development teams, raising appropriate defect tickets with sufficient technical information as to minimise fix time - Triaging internal support requests, resolving or escalating as required - Testing code fixes and new functional development throughout the release cycle - Developing new and maintaining existing HTML content pages within enterprise-class cloud-based e-commerce platform, delivering work that accurately realises design briefs in a code- efficient manner - Developing A/B tests using HTML and Javascript to specific design and functional requirements - Implementing short term tactical fixes for display or website usability issues Candidate Requirements: - 2-5 years' commercial experience in online/e-commerce/support functions - Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills with focus on attention to detail - Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent listening skills - Excellent understanding of data and systems relationships, Web technologies, HTML & - CSS (essential) Javascript (beneficial) - You must be a team player and be able to build strong relationships across third party organisations Elevation Business Support is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group focusing on Support positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
