DSU Junior Underwriter

Purpose of the Role The post holder will provide the highest level of customer service and support at all times to existing and potential dealers. In our ever growing fast paced environment you will work efficiently and effectively providing operational support within the DSU covering all aspects of new business, together with ad hoc duties specific to the unit's operation. The post holder will carry out these duties with regards to the Companies strategies, policies and procedures with full regard for equal opportunities, health and safety requirements and legislative and regulatory requirements. The post holder will ensure that all dealer enquiries are dealt with compliantly, effectively and efficiently and details processed according to company systems, procedures and regulatory requirements. The job holder will endeavour to treat the customers of CBMF fairly and according to the company's policies, procedures and guidelines. Key Responsibilities * Have full knowledge of FPS to include:- Proposal Input, Credit Search, Car, Data Check & Pricing, Production of Agreements, Underwriting within Company policy and authority levels * Have full knowledge of CARS to include:- Quotation, Settlements, General Enquiries * Achieve individual and team targets assigned through the Companies annual planning, budgets and performance review process to support efficiencies and set KPIs * Handle complaints as per procedure * General administration duties together with strong communication skills * Work through DSU development programme as per timescales agreed with your Senior/Manager and reviewed through the performance management process * Carry out all required administrative duties necessary within the department ensuring deadlines are met and work is carried out effectively and efficiently * Undertake any reasonable tasks, which may be required to ensure the smooth running of the department * Risk & Compliance - ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
