This business have recently gone through a transaction with a VC Company and are looking for a Group Head of Treasury and Tax to take control of the groups function. The position has arisen because the company is looking for someone to positively influence the culture and transform the Treasury and Tax function into an area of excellence. This offers a great opportunity to an ambitious specialist to create a Tax & Treasury function using their own ideas but also bring best-practice from their previous experience. With a turnover approaching £1billion, the firm are already well renowned but they harbour exciting plans to grow both organically and via bolt-on acquisitions. This could potentially give you the opportunity to be heavily involved in numerous different acquisitions and transactions. This role will ensure you get: Great exposure to senior stakeholders within the business The ability to spend the peak of your career within a first-class brand The opportunity to create and deliver on critical and recognisable projects; allowing you to build your profile The chance to impress external advisor's; investors, bankers and big 4 accountants Significant international responsibilities and reach The chance to broaden your skill-set and learn consistently of amazing colleagues The responsibilities of the Tax & Treasury Manager include: Run a project to centralise all financing through simplified group structure Raising new finance for the business Cash-flow forecasting and planning with various regional country finance leads Implementing and managing a FX hedging policy Being in charge of preparing and monitoring the group tax provision and tax cash estimates Simplify the tax structure, continually improving and automating the processes, in order to minimise the use of third parties Ensuring all internal controls for accounting and income tax are in place and appropriate Managing all relationships with the necessary banks and third parties Daily control of lending facilities Tax planning across the group Working with big 4 tax advisor's The ideal Tax & Treasury Manager will have: Extremely strong Treasury management skills Passionate about Experience of working in a treasury and ideally exposure to corporate tax (ACA qualified) Previously worked in a Big 4 accounting firm before gaining valuable experience in industry Recognisable examples of delivering on projects consistently A working understanding of IFRS in regards to foreign currency, investment and taxes Strong stakeholder management experience
