Overview

Vertical Transportation Manager/Lifts and Escalators Manager This is a chance to join one of the UK's oldest and established main contractors. They operate throughout London and the South East providing bespoke solutions to major construction projects which include Hospitals and healthcare establishments, high end residential, commercial, stadia and high class hotels ranging in value from £50 to £600M. As Lifts and Escalators Manger you will be site/office-based, whereby the person will be working with the pre-construction and delivery teams on major projects throughout London. You will oversee the pre-construction function and then manage the delivery of individual lift and escalator packages of around £8M. Utilising your 10 years' experience working in the lift and escalator industry - preferably with a known brand such as Kone, Otis, Schindler, etc. - together with a relevant industry qualification you will have experience of working on large Commercial and mixed-use residential projects throughout London. You will form part of the bid management, work winning and the pre-construction team providing expert advice on lift and escalator packages. Once projects are awarded you will be an integral part of the delivery team where you will provide programme, method and sequence advice to construction teams on all aspects of Vertical Transportation service.
