Overview

In Springvale, we have a team of Quality professionals consisting of control (Inspectors) & assurance (Engineers). You will be joining a small team of engineers who are focused and work in an enjoyable environment. This role will be responsible for the assurance and control of incoming quality audits (IQA's). Audit plans will determine how frequently part number are routed to IQA for inspection and how many pieces per load are inspected. Inspection plans will be developed to list the specific features or characteristics that need to be inspected, including attributes/ design features associated with fit, form, function, cosmetic acceptance and cleanliness. You will: Develop audit plans and tools that are used for internal quality certification for both the implementation of ISO9001 or equivalent Quality Management System. Work with all employees to improve quality practices in their processes through quality manner such as daily coaching, tracking CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects & Scorecard, providing quality support if any poor results or negative trends occur. Implement and administrate/ lead the RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) processes by clarifying and verifying all ideas from the RCCA process with related persons and spot check, explain the validation reasons, and encourage all employees to make contributions to achieve zero defect in operations Be a coordinator between related teams and functions when there are issues or roadblocks during implementing projects and actions generated from the RCCA process and track its implementation progress. This position is required to be proactive to develop quality related control methodologies and systems such as Cost of Quality control company wide. Encourage the implementation of the established systems. Analyse and solve problems occurring during implementation. Support 5S/Lean Manufacturing/Class A and SAP and ongoing support, to help area owners set up goals and integrate 5S/Lean Manufacturing Practices with Internal Quality Certification system through standardization and documentation. Skills and Experience: Candidates should have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline as well as relevant experience in a Quality Engineer role. Those candidates with less or no qualifications should have considerably more experience. Relevant Quality Engineering experience should include the following: ISO9001 (CQMS) APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) tools Top candidates will also have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles: Lean/5S experience Six Sigma CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine) Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
