Overview

Travel Coordinator Salary up to £23K PA Fixed Term contract (10 months) Our client, a Top 10 accountancy fim, is currently looking for a Travel Coordinator to join their team in their London Office. The Travel coordinator will implement/administer the department’s travel booking needs, ensuring that company’s firm-wide travel policies are adhered to and that efficiencies / improvements in the processes are noted and implemented. Duties: Receive travel booking requests / requests for quotations and engage with the travel booking platform / travel management company to get these actioned in a timely manner; Liaise with the Senior Travel Coordinator to ensure an appropriate and efficient allocation of tasks/requests across the travel booking team; Liaise with company’s Travel Security team to ensure associated risks are being identified and appropriately mitigated Ensure travellers are providing full and complete travel booking forms to minimize the risk of delay in the booking process; Proactively identify improvements to our travel booking processes Building internal relationships with key individuals to ensure bookings can be made in an efficient, friendly manner and in keeping with the wider firm’s needs / policies; Ensure that bookings and processes are aligned to the firm’s travel policy; Ensure travellers are reminded to consider visa requirements when travelling, where applicable; Be a friendly and professional focal point for travel requests to both our travellers and other internal/external stakeholders involved in the travel process Record time accurately using the firm’s HR Management System; Requirements: Must have eligibility to work in the UK Must have experience of booking travel Task-oriented. Ability to execute requests in a timely and efficient manner Able to prioritise, organise and multi-task Competent using MS Office (Excel) Experience of working with online booking platforms preferable Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
