Credit Control Supervisor - Hereford, Herefordshire - £28,000 - £30,000 per annum - FMCG Sector - Hays Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and well-established FMCG Group based in Hereford, Herefordshire to recruit for a dynamic and experienced Credit Control Supervisor. You will be responsible for reporting and managing the performance of the credit team, the debt provision and reporting for national accounts along as other branches within the Group. A great opportunity to really add value in a varied and hands-on Credit Supervisor role reporting into the Financial Controller. Your new role Your key duties will involve managing the performance of the Credit Controllers ensuring sufficient calls are made and results achieved, coaching and development, interrogation of Credit Ledgers with Credit Controllers on a weekly basis, highlighting any areas of concern which would require targeted improvement. Along with escalation of potential issues and Credit risks, management of the National Account customers, close liaison with the Group Credit Management to ensure compliance to Group Insurance Policy, and internal Litigation processes. You will be involved in Credit Insurance Claims and County Court Judgements along with various projects to support business improvement and growth. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this hands-on Credit Control Supervisor role, you will need experience within a similar position with a proven track record of supervising and coaching others. You will need to have strong communication skills with internal teams and external parties at all levels, be able to drive and pro-actively raise and address issues as they arise. You will need to the ability to understand and interrogate Credit Control reports focussing on aged debt, be able to meet deadlines under pressure and have a strong level of IT skills. It would be advantageous but not essential, if you have worked in the FMCG sector previously.
