Senior BI Developer Farnham £45K - £50K per annum Job Description My client is seeking a Senior BI Developer to join their team within the heart of Farnham. The BI Developer will provide technical analyst, development and testing support to a number of teams across the business. The Senior BI Developer will: Develop and Maintain the ETL solutions with SQL, SSIS Producing high quality data warehouse solutions using appropriate technologies Build and maintain complex Stored procs, Functions, Views and Triggers. Be part of the design, development and maintenance of self-service tools, primarily SSAS cubes. Design, build, and maintain reporting solutions (dashboards, mobile apps) using SQL, data visualisation, (Power BI & SSRS) and other business intelligence tools Deliver of operational reporting projects (incl. management reporting) end-to-end in line with business needs Develop an understanding of complex database structures and system architecture Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data requirements Documenting technical specifications for Technical approval Manage deployment of changes from development to QA through to release Monitor and resolve performance and stability issues Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for assigned reports, applications, or projects Provide concise, accurate reporting of work progress to BI Manager Stay current with changes in the Business Intelligence landscape, in particular ML, and present back to BI Manager Assist in the definition and implementation of database and development standards and knowledge management Support in Ad-hoc project work Establish dashboards, mobile apps, and accounts: SSRS and Power BI Carry out Data analysis, understanding and application of analytical models Support and train other members of the Development team Work with the Business Intelligence Manager to work within project timelines and budgets The ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of 4 years' experience within ETL & Data Warehouse development (SSIS, T-SQL, SSAS Have a minimum 4 years within a Business Analytics Tool - PowerBI / MSSQL SSRS Have 2-4 years of Net (C# or VB) Machine Learning, Data Science and Big Data Integration experience Have experience working in an Agile development environment Have experience working with Azure Be an excellent problem solver with great communication skills Have the ability to build strong and productive relationships Ideally have streaming technology experience (Kafka, Spark, Flink, Azure Stream Analytics)
