Blackwaters are recruiting: Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior The Firm: Established, respected multi-office Chartered Accountancy practice, c 80 staff. Well known for it’s professional training & progression of staff within the firm. Broad variety of clients: from SMEs to Groups, across all sectors including NFP, offering broad training exposure. Based in superb offices in beautiful central location, offering superb retail & dining outlets, close to green spaces. The Role: Responsible to: Seniors, Managers, Partners. You will join an Assurance team that includes a number of trainees at all levels from 'raw’ to finalists. The role is a mixture of audit (circa 60%) & year-end accounts preparation. The firm is flexible, so your precise duties will vary to suit your experience & aspirations. Assisting on and /or leading audits plus year -end accounts preparation of suitable complexity to support your development. The firm supports ACCA, ICAEW & AAT studiers. The Person : Candidates, likely studying an accountancy qualification who have worked in a UK practice role which has included a significant proportion of audit. The Package: Competitive salary. The firm supports ACCA, ICAEW & AAT studiers. 5 day week of 37.5 hours, from 9am to 5.30pm - Holiday is 23 days per annum, this increases by a further 2 days following 2 years employment, bringing it up to 25 days plus Bank Holidays - Flexi-time can be accrued up to a maximum of 5 days, following first 6 months employment - Commission incentives for introducing new business and employees to the firm - Life Assurance (4 X annual salary) - Private Medical Insurance (PMI) is free for employees, with an option to add family/partner/child (not via salary sacrifice).
