Overview

My client are a dynamic, innovative and creative technology company who are looking to recruit a HR advisor to join their passionate and experienced HR department , the role is to own a full case load of employee relations cases and will take the lead on complex, large scale matters. You will be responsible for leading on a variety of project work that will support the departments transformation efforts. You will ensure that the HR department is compliant with new legislation and best practice, with a continuous focus on process improvement and efficiency. As a member of the team, you will also have shared responsibility to ensure all front- line and Manager queries are responded to in a timely manner. Job Overview Support and coach leaders, managers and HR colleagues in understanding and complying with all employee relations policies and practices, ensuring consistency and compliance with local employment law legislation. Proactively partner with Managers to drive high performance and provide guidance and support on any performance related issues. Manage a broad range of disciplinary and grievance cases using a combination of employment expertise and experience of driving the right outcome for both the employee and the organisation. Work on restructures and redundancies resulting from business changes/requirements. Manage and deliver against a series of projects that support the HR team to simplify and evolve ways of working and equip line managers to be more self-sufficient. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Passionate about providing excellent customer service Adapts quickly to new concepts and change and tailors HR activity in line with new direction. Seeks to understand both internal external environment and challenges status quo to drive improvement and new ways of working. Able to progress projects and tasks with minimal instruction and undefined boundaries. Demonstrates resilience and a can-do attitude in the face of obstacles and challenges. Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to improve ways of working Able to confidently advise and challenge employees, leaders and managers based on experience and own point of view. Experience of leading on complex employee relations case load as well as being comfortable to deal with more simple matters. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with great attention to detail Demonstrates ability to influence senior stakeholders and gain support to drive initiatives forward. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritise and respond to changing demands Has a proactive, solution oriented approach and takes initiative to improve ways of working both locally and globally. Excellent understanding of UK employment law with an ability and desire to learn, interpret and apply employment laws for all regions, as required. CIPD education desirable Proficient in Microsoft office with advanced excel and PowerPoint skills. The position is a 9 months fixed term contract which offers a competitive salary and benefits .
